CEN and CENELEC signed UNECE’s declaration on gender responsive standards and standards development

Today Ms Elena Santiago Cid, Director General of CEN and CENELEC, officially signed UNECE’s Declaration on Gender Responsive Standards and Standards Development together with 19 of CEN and CENELECs’ national members. With this signature, CEN and CENELEC pledge to support the creation of gender responsive standards.
 

No ‘quick fix’ available for effective risk management in organisations, says ACCA

A new report from ACCA (the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) uncovers how board-level risk management activities vary in organisations as a result of internal and external factors. The report, Risk and performance: Embedding risk management, highlights common challenges and good practices to overcome risk management difficulties.
 

S&Ds: Udo Bullmann to present roadmap for a sustainable Europe in London

The head of the Group of Socialists and Democrats (S&D) in the European Parliament, Udo Bullmann will travel to London to present the report of the Independent Commission for Sustainable Equality (ICSE) at a conference organised by the LSE Conflict and Civil Society Research Unit (LSE CSS) in partnership with the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung and Another Europe Is Possible.
