S&D President Iratxe García will meet with Poland’s government in preparation of the upcoming Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU, which will run from January to the end of June 2025.
Today, S&D leader, Iratxe García addressed Ursula von der Leyen, candidate for the Presidency of the European Commission, in the EP plenary in Strasbourg. García asked for a strong and real commitment to the Green Deal and just transition, a solid European social dimension and progress in equality and women's rights.
